Sixty-five Years (and counting)/
To celebrate its sixty-fifth anniversary and its sponsorship of typographic excellence, the Type Directors Club has published Celebrate 65, a portfolio of inspirational work by prominent type designers, graphic designers, letterers, calligraphers, and artists. The sixty-five contributors were invited to submit a design for one number between one and sixty-five. This book presents their smart and beautiful efforts, as well as memoirs and reflections by Roger Black, James Montalbano, Paul Shaw, Ilene Strizver, Carol Wahler. and Alex W. White./

The seven typefaces used in the book text were all winners in the TDC Typeface Design Competition. TDC board chairman Diego Vainesman designed the book, which is 10 x 10 inches and 80 pages.
