Giving Thanks has to be our favorite on this DVD. My sons love this story and it is narrated so well by Chief Jake Swamp. The music that accompanies it and the beautiful, slightly animated illustrations have a hypnotic effect and make it a great bedtime story. He's Got the Whole World is sung by Crystal Tagliefero and her music is joyful and vibrant. We love her versions of All the Colors of the Earth, Waiting for Wings, Planting a Rainbow and both Chicka Boom and Chicka 123 that appear on other Scholastic DVD's. Owl Moon is another lovely piece on this DVD! Highly recommended!

Scholastic DVDs are consistently the best DVDs for kids on the market. Taking the most beautiful story books and turning them into a treat for the screen is Scholastic's specialty. The books retain their integrity, but the video enhances the experience. In many cases, we first learned of a book through a Scholastic DVD and rushed out to buy it (one of our favorites is Alberto the Insect Architect). With authors like Jane Yolen and illustrators like Kadir Nelson, this one is another winner.

My kids loved singing the songs. my daughter absolutely loved this video. We especially enjoyed reading it with the video. My only wish is that they made the sound available in French.
