About the Author
Lynn Colwell and Corey Colwell-Lipson are mother and daughter. They share a passion for helping others enjoy life and make wonderful memories by creating celebrations that honor people and the Earth. Corey is a licensed marital and family therapist and certified clinical art therapist specializing in the transition to parenthood. Lynn has had many jobs/careers. Most recently she was a life coach with clients around the U.S. and Canada.

With my daughter, Corey, I'm working to change the world one celebration at a time.
My road to writing "Celebrate Green!" and my current work was, technically speaking--zig zaggy.
I've been everything from a Lamaze childbirth instructor, to a photographer, to a freelance writer, to a corporate communications, PR manager and life coach.
Whatever I've done, I've been fully engaged and passionate in its pursuit until I wasn't. Then I moved on to something else.
Some people might call me a dilettante. I think of myself a Renaissance Woman.
I know that most writers' biographies are filled with accolades, honors and long lists of books they've published. I'm not sure what we really learn from that so I won't bother. (Of course, the fact that I have no accolades, honors or long lists of books I've published has absolutely nothing to do with my silence in this arena). Instead I'll say, that if you're reading this bio, just take a look at the photo that accompanies it (taken by the way by the very talented Holli Dunn), and I think you'll know more about me than any formal biography could ever tell you.

A complete guide for "green" living,

This book is filled with an amazing amount of eco-tips, facts, gift ideas, activities, games, DIY projects, crafts and recipes that go well beyond what this EcoWarrior has ever thought of. The book's main objective is to help you become more ecologically aware of alternatives when celebrating holidays throughout the year. However, there's more to it than that. Corey and Lynn also help you discover new ways to "green up" weddings, graduations, birthdays and office parties."Celebrate Green!" is not just about the holidays, though. It's a "green guide" for daily living by giving simple ways to go through life with a lighter footstep.

You really don't have to go much further than this book to get ideas for celebrating green. Going Green doesn't have to be as overwhelming as some may think. You don't have to do it overnight, that's why "Celebrate Green" is such a great book to follow and start slow. This year because of "Celebrate Green", bayside.macaronikid.com will be celebrating their first Green Holiday, Halloween Green!
