Triple Image is AWESOME!, March 10, 2003
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Celebrate (Audio CD)
For girls so young, these girls are amazing! The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because it takes you awhile to like their songs, and then once you like them, their songs get old pretty quickly. But it's a really cute, fun album. 1. Celebrate (It's Time to Celebrate)--1/5 Not one of my favorites. It's...I don't know, too rappy, and the songline is kinda boring. 2. Last One Standing--4/5 This is their single and a very cute, fun song. 3. Boy Next Door--3/5 It's ok, but the person who sings the lead is very very soft. Stevie Brock has the coolest voice though. 4. It's A Wake-Up Call-- 4/5 I used to not like it, but I love it now! The songline is all about the world and how everyone has to "get along". 5.(Hey Now) Girls Just Wanna Have Fun-- 4/5 WOW! Are those even their voices? Amazing! Love the vocals. 6. I'm Yours-- 5/5 It's very sweet, puppy-love song. One of my favorites. 7. None of Your Business-- 4/5 Two words: COOLEST SONG!! I love the unique songline, too, about telling the other girl to shut up! LOL. 8. I Love Your Smile-- 5/5 Very cutesy. A very danceable, girly song, though. 9. I Kissed A Boy-- 4/5 The only thing I didn't like is...who sings about kissing a boy? 10. Never Gonna Stop-- 3/5 A very fast song. Don't love it, don't hate it. Just--ok. 11. What I Like-- 4/5 Cool song. Also with a very unique songline. It's all about them doing what they wanna do and having no one stop them. 12. Cool It Now-- 5/5 I haven't heard the original, and this remake makes me want to hear it. The rap part was kinda weird, though. Well, I hope this review helps you...I recommend this CD for any girl ages 7-15. Oh, yeah--any adults or boys reviewing...you shouldn't really comment unless you have something good to say. I think this CD was made for girls!!!

I Was Shocked!, August 25, 2002
This review is from: Celebrate (Audio CD)
As I was browsing around at Best Buy one day, I stumbled across this cd. I remembered hearing their song "Last One Standing" and didn't care for it but I took a chance. I was thinking if they become like Aaron Carter, starting when they're little then making smash hit albums ( I don't really like Aaron Carter) but I gave this cd a chance and I'm glad I did! I'll admit it, I wasn't expecting much for these girls but my expectations were wrong! 1) Celebrate: 3:20 - Grade: B+ This is a fun song and I made too much of it before I heard it. It was all of the girl's favorite song, it was the album's name and it was the first song. I expected something HUGE, but it's not that spectacular. They rap in this song and they're actually pretty good at rapping. The chorus is really fun and upbeat and so are the lyrics. A good song. 2) Last One Standing 3:29 - Grade: B+ This is their first single and the reason I almost didn't buy the album. They also rap in this song, and I didn't care for 11 year old girls rapping but the chorus is really fun and danceable and it's actually a really fun song to listen to. I listen to it a lot 3) Boy Next Door - 4:09- Grade: A- Probably my second favorite song off the album. The only thing I don't like about it is that I thought since it was kind of a slow song, they wouldn't rap, they'd sing. It SOUNDS like they're singing, but they're rapping quietly and slowly. In the chorus they sing and the chorus is my favorite part. It's a typical song that a lot of people can relate to. The part where "Stevie" calls Brianna on the phone, the voice of Stevie sounds exactly like Aaron Carter did during the time he released his first and I thought it WAS a younger him! 4) Wake Up Call - 3:23 - Grade: B+ This song shows that the girls can sing. (Well in the chorus anyway) the lyrics are really well written. It's a really good song to listen to when you're cleaning your room, you kinda zone out of everything else except the music. It's a standout 5) Hey Now (Girls Just Wanna Have Fun) - 3:44 - Grade: B++ I almost gave this song an A- because they sing through the whole thing! Well almost, at the end the start rapping again, but after that they start singing again. I actually can't believe it's their voice! If it is they are extrodinary singers especially for their ages. It's also really catchy and.... fun! A DEFINITE standout 6) I'm Yours - 3:51 - Grade: C This is not one of my favorites. Actually this is my least favorite song on the album. It's a slow song and it just isn't that great. It can sometimes be very catchy though. They sing all the way through this one too. I guess it's one of the best that shows their vocal abilites but just for a song? Nope. It's not as great as the other ones. 7) None Of Your Buisness - 3:05 - Grade: A+ This is my favorite song! It actually has some R&B in it. They sing very well in this. I wasn't expecting to like it because it had kind of a childish title but it's by far the best song on the album. They sing very mature for this song. It sounds like they're in their early/mid teens. It just blew my mind because I wasn't expecting something like this from them. But it just goes to show: don't ignore the tracks that are toward the back of the album. One of the bests part is when they go: "Stop - Asking - Questions" it's just great! you have to hear it! 8) I Love Your Smile - 2:56 - Grade: B- It's not a very bad song, but it's not a very good song. When the song is over ask yourself: what part do you remember the most? And you'll say: "I Love Your Smile" it seems like they say that through the whole thing. But it's still a pretty good song. Not the best, but hey! It's not horrible. 9) I Kissed A Boy - 2:51 Grade - B+ A really good song. They have really good singing in this. It's really catchy. It's a slow head banger. The music is really fun and upbeat. A really good dance song. I guess I liked it as much as I did was because they sang AWESOME in it, but I didn't like it as much as I could have because it's more of a girl song rather than a boy song, but it's still a really good song for everybody to lisetn to. 10) Never Gonna Stop - 2:29 - A Short song, but only because they sing really fast. It's one of the best songs and I wouldn't be surprised if it were a single. But like I said, it's a really fast song. But it's probably the best dance song and one of the BEST songs on the CD. It can get old after you've listened to it for a long time though. It also does get stuck in your head. And it's really, really hard to get out. 11) What I Like - 3:53 - Grade: A- Here's another really good song. The chorus is really, really, catchy. It took me a long time to get it out of my head. They're telling people that although they're young they're not stupid and they "know what they like" this is one you DON'T want to skip over unless you don't like good pop music. 12) Cool It Now - 3:57 - Grade: B Good song. Not great. It's not one to listen to over and over again, though. But it's still fun to listen to.

You go girls!, February 2, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Celebrate (Audio CD)
'Triple Image' is fast becoming my 12-year-old niece's favorite group. I am really glad to see this more innocent entertainment for her and others in my family. In the past she's been a Britney Spears addict and I thought that was a bit too mature for her. It made my skin crawl when she'd sing out, one of Britney Spears' songs and try to get the 'Chucky Doll' sound in her voice. 'Girls just wanna have fun' on the other hand, is just teling it like it is! ;) Girls do want to have fun and they can have fun with 'Tripple Image'! Call it 'bubble gum' or what ever you please, but I think 'Triple Image' is just what the doctor ordered for my niece's age group! Some of these reviews on here seem a tad bitter. Yeah, these girl are blonde, in pink and white feathers and look really girlish. And the problem with that is...? Most of us girls prefere pink feathers to 'sour grape' green!LOL I have to admit it even me, at 23-years-old, love them myself. I plan to encourage my niece and other young family members to buy their products! I've already given 'Celebrate' to everyone of them and they all love it! One almost ended a friendship with her best friend because the girl borrowed her CD of 'Celebrate' and didn't return it!!LOL All I have to say to 'Tripl Image' is 'you go girls!' You've worked hard and you're doing a GREAT job! As long as you stay true to yourselves, you have a huge support group out here! :)
