5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, December 10, 1996
By A Customer
"Celebrate your self" is not only a book that explains the psychological theory but it has step-by-step excercise to lead you to a more satifying life. It is definitely a must for people who is searching for happiness in thier lives. I also find the book has a great explaination about coupleship and how to make it work, leading to a game-free relationship. It's a book you will read again and again and find new meanning to it everytime you read it. This Book was introduced to me by a Internet friend, who was inspired by this book decades ago. "Celebrate your self" Changed his life and gave him the knowlegde to get out of manic depression. I lost this good net-friend and the only way to thank him about telling me this wonderful book is to recommend it to other people.

5.0 out of 5 stars Some good solid advice, October 24, 1997
While reading this book, I expected a little more. But after I finished it, I ended up using some of the advice to help heal a lot of post divorce pain. For that reason, I would recommend it to anyone looking to advance past what self blame and low self esteem can do.

5.0 out of 5 stars Profound insite and healing!, May 6, 2000
By A Customer
This incredible book has been a profound influence in my process of healing. I read it at the recommendation of a friend and have been grateful eversince. I have often found myself referring back to it's rich pages to refresh my mind with it's simple and sensible, yet profound insights. Dorothy uses a cluster of some of the psychological schools of thought. This allows for a more comprehensive view of the what and how of both self-esteem and the healing process. I found the intermittent summations of the "basic ideas" very helpful. I'm confident that each person who reads it with the intent to put to practice the exercises she provides would benefit immensely. I think that they can help accelerate the learning and healing process. Do put your heart into it! May you to reap in great abundance the healing and the wisdom that you seek.
