I love this CD! I've been lucky enough to get to know Dave and see him play multiple times. If you love Benny Goodman and Pete Fountain then you will love Dave Bennett as well. He has gorgeous tone and amazing technique. I listen to this CD over and over and it never gets old!

I saw this gifted young man live at Ocean Shores Dixieland Jazz Festival a couple of years ago. He is nothing short of incredible. I think he was born with a clarinet in his hands. Check out his web site [...]. I wish he spent more time on the west coast. He won't disappoint.

Having seen Dave Bennett in concert we bought the CD and again are in awe of his talent. He does a great Benny Goodman,but his native talent shines through the whole recording. Technically he is perfect, but packs his love of the instrument and the music into all he plays as well.He's only 26, so he can only go up from here. How he could improve I don't know. Top rated - also for his group, which is superb. They need to be out there.
