I bought this book to do with a grandchild. We had a great time. The recipes were easy to use for a beginner at candy making

This book is ok, just not what I thought it would be. I'm not disappointed, but not estatic either. If you're serious about making candy, and you're a novice, this book is good, but I'm not a novice and expeted more.

It's an ok book. I bought it from a retail store and not Amazon. I do a lot of baking and candy-making but these recipes aren't the best. The Hawaiian fudge, for example, does not turn out well at all. It's so sweet that it's inedible. The peanut brittle recipe was good, however. There are much better books on the market than this one.
