Christmas devotional
I used this Kindle book for Advent Christmas devotional this year and enjoyed it. Max Lucado is a great writer. However, it took me about 10 years to realize that. Being a KJV fan, I give this 4 stars as it gets confusing when authors refer to different versions of the Bible in one booklet. Also, these devotions come from excerpts from his other books.

A little disappointing.
As much as I admire Max Lucado and his writing, I was a bit disappointed in this devotional booklet. If the title says "Advent", I expect it to focus on the coming of Jesus Christ into the world. This is a good devotional on the ministry of all of Jesus' life, but I would not call it an advent devotional. As a matter of fact, there was not even one reading that had to...

I have probably all of Max Lucado's books. His writings are down-to-earth and very useful in daily living. I'm glad that he continues to write books.

This is a very nice devotional book for a "busy" time of the year when we seem to be so rushed. The devotionals are short but meaningful, encouraging and comforting. Max Lucado does it again! Well written.
