5.0 out of 5 stars A Superlative Guide for working with multicultural classes, November 15, 2004
This is not the typical "let's celebrate Hanukkah, it's the Jewish Christmas" kind of simplistic stuff you find in many curricula. It's a thorough, thoughtful and insightful exploration of the many "cultures" that children and parents and teachers bring to the school. It's the school as the central meeting place of various cultures in our society and how to deal with those cultures respectfully and not as problems but as resources, strengths and treasures.
