Having never heard of the author, I took the risk of ordering this book with the hope of getting some new and clever ideas. Unfortunately, the book is filled with ideas and techniques I have seen in existing books. However, this book is perfect for new cake decorators.

This is a GREAT book.I have checked this book out of the library at least 5 times, and I decided it was time for me to own my own copy. I will be looking for other books by Karen Goble at the Cake Decorating stores I shop at. This book is easy to follow with great pictures that showed stupendous looking cakes with simple directions and examples. Thanks Karen for creating it and Thanks Amazon for making it so affordable. Amazon keep up the good work.
