Simple Loving Oracle Deck,
By
This review is from: Celebration of Love: Oracle Cards [With 60 Oracle Cards] (Paperback)
This is a nice simplistic deck of oracle cards, so you can interpret insights into your life. This is a motivational card reading that you give yourself whenever you feel like it. There are 60 illustrated cards, each having an Adam/Eve type picture on the front and each having a different picture and meaning on the back. A small booklet accompanies the cards, providing an explanation of each card's meaning. Unlike some other decks, this booklet is in alphabetical order, THANK GOD!
You basically concentrate on the cards (so that you resonate with their vibration), ask your question, and shuffle them. Depending on how you want to proceed, you may draw one or several cards in a layout, then read about them and discern what the card(s) mean to you. I usually draw 3 cards (a 3 card spread) and read my past/present/future (from left to right). This is something I do now and then, not every day. Like I said, it's a fun and motivational thing. I generally ask the angels to help me to randomly select 3 cards that tell me what I need to know. OK. I just picked a card for you. It says "Sharing" and it is a picture of the Light Priestess, and she is sending all these swirls of light out of her hands. The booklet says that "this image celebrates the magic of myth and legend. We are called to dream how ancient thoughtforms rode the threads of time and are now woven into the beautiful tapestry of our human ancestry." The message continues, asking us to "extend the magic of joy to a stranger. Go out of your way today to do something nice for someone no matter how small it is, without expecting anything in return. Send them a blast of love from your heart and send it out through your smile and eyes." `There is always a bonus message in a block at the bottom of the explanation. This one says "You are being inspired to break out of the cocoon of control that certain others have had over you. Send them love, joy, and blessings. Have an inner dialog with them affirming that you choose to be free from their control, no matter how well intended it was meant to be. Offer gratitude for this lesson and be aware that you would never exercise this type of control over someone else, either." Nice little deck, huh? Whether you believe in this kind of thing or not, it is certainly a nice motivational tool isn't it? It might even be neat to do with a child, maybe around age 8 and up? I'm thinking it might help to motivate them and teach them love and kindness. Think about the card I just picked for you? How might this be teaching a child? How might this be part of bonding with the child? The deck and booklet come in a nice cardboard box, about the size of a 4 x 6 inch photo or so. You could easily put one in your desk drawer and pull it out on lunch or break, for yourself or for a small group, and do one reading a day for someone. Nice, clean fun. By the way, you simply MUST go to Stardolphin.com. That is Eva's website. She has some of the most unique picture prints for sale that I have ever seen. They are reasonably priced and really cool! She has dolphins and angels and related subject matter. Check it out. I met Eva at a Holistic Health Fair in York, Pennsylvania. Synchronicity being what it is, I had been talking to Frederic DeLarue in California, (see his wonderful angel- channeled music on Amazon) and we were talking about the beautiful cover she had designed for one of his CDs. So, I am walking through the Fair. I look up and see "StarDolphin"! Well, of course I went over and met Eva, a very nice lady with a beautiful vibration.

It is honestly a shame that the cover of this deck is not up here. As the artwork IS such an important part of Tarot Deck's. I wish I could paint a picture with words that would do this deck justice. I collect Tarot Deck's
and this is up there in the top 10. I do NOT think you will be dissapointed with this gorgeous deck!
