PreSchool-- Brief descriptions of 13 holidays, presented in free verse. Greenberg describes each day as it might be perceived by young children, personalizing the activities to make them relevant to youngsters. This will be most useful as an introduction, despite a tendency toward the simplistic. Full-color miniature scenes in a somewhat primitive style enhance the text by capturing a salient aspect of the featured day, often providing an additional focus for discussion.
