It is a beautiful book to look at and to admire. But if you are a beginner I suggest going with "New ways with Polymer clay" and or "The polymer clay techniques book". The Techniques book is very helpful!! I loved this book but for now all I can do is look and dream.

All I can say is "fantastic"! This book is so well written it's the 2003 version of "New Clay" (which I considered "The Bible" of polymer clay) All of the projects in this book are new and well written, even a novice would be able to pick up this book and complete most of the projects. I also like how Sarajane shows how rubber stamps, cookie cutters, powders, etc., can be used to enhance polymer clay.

My favorite sections are the color recipes, the stain formulas and the projects on how to make mini masks with rubber stamps.

I collect books on Polymer Clay Artistry and Beading, and this is one of the best of any genre. An absolute classic, suitable for beginners and more experienced clay artists. If you ever thought of Polymer Clay as a relative to Play-Doh, you won't after reading this lucious book.

This book is a treasure - elegant, informative and just plain beautiful. Sarajane Helm has outdone herself this time with a great introduction/basics section, clearly laid out instructions for projects and a stellar gallery of examples by many talented polymer clay artists, both established and up-and-coming. Beautiful photography throughout. Highly recommended.

I love this book and I know you will too if you are into clay or just thinking about trying it. The projects are all wonderful, with easy to follow instructions. Everything to keep a beginner or an advanced clayer busy. Sarajane Helm out did herself this time. Can wait to see what's up her other sleeve.

I first seen this book at a crafting store and with their price came home and found it on Amazon.com at a lower cost..thats the first most important thing...I really love the way they incorperate the mica's in the projects to give them a very rich expensive non crafted look..I was very impressed with the projects in this book and reviewing it before I bought it was the selling point for me..Mrs.C.

A great book for newbies and seasoned clayers alike. I have been claying since 1994 and I found new ideas inside. A highly recommended addition to any clay-addict's library.

Another excellent book from Sarajane Helm. This would be a good guide for both beginner or advanced polymer clay artist. The instructions for each project and technique are clear and fully explained. Illustrations are crisp and clear. This is truly an addition to anyones library.

Each project will inspire you to explore your own creativity. Would recommend this book to anyone interested in the art of polymer clay.

I loved the egg project and the leaves. For a beginner like me, this book will come in handy as I learn the techinques.

This was a used book I purchased and I have to say I was very, very pleased with the condition.
The author of this book puts everything in very simple terms & makes it easy for a newby to follow along.
I really love it & was glad to add it to my collection of polymer clay books that is ever expanding thanks to Amazon!!!
