We purchased this mattress about a month ago and have been very happy with it. The transaction went very smoothly with Sleep Shop and we received the mattress within a few days of ordering it (I appreciated being able to track shipment via FEDEX). The smell was pretty strong when we first opened it, but dissapated after a few days and wasn't bad enough to keep us from sleeping on it after it had aired out for about 36 hours. My husband thinks the mattress is fantastic and I think it's fine, but not spectacular. We both have back problems and have both noticed some improvement since we got the new mattress. I get hot easily when I sleep, so I was concerned about the mattress being uncomfortably warm but I actually find it more comfortable in that respect than our old traditional mattress. I don't think that it is really much different from the Tempurpedic, and couldn't justify spending 7 times as much for the "real thing." I would recommend it to anyone who wants to switch to memory foam, but can't handle the cost of the Tempurpedic.

This is my first bed after a sealy king pillowtop. I LOVE it. I have never slept like this before. The chemical smell is still mildly present, after a month. That aside, the bed is great.

I placed the order for this bed and promptly received an email with the Fedex tracking number the next day. The mattress was delivered rolled up and vacuum-packed. Once I removed the plastic packaging, the mattress returned to it's original shape and size within minutes. It does have a paint-like smell. It has been almost a week and the smell is almost gone. It may have helped that I sprayed it with febreeze several times and left a fan in the room to help air it out. As for comfort, this bed is comparable to the celebrity bed by Tempur-pedic, which I have tested out in a store. I highly recommend this bed and this seller.

I don't know what they make these out of, or what chemicals they use to shrink this thing for shipping, but two weeks after it arrived it is still sitting in our extra bedroom "breathing". It smells like ground up skunks mixed in with sherwin williams paint. Comfy though, so if you don't mind waiting at least 2 weeks for it to de-stinkify, then you should buy it.

So, it's not a $2500 brand name mattress. However, I could not feel any difference, having tried the expensive brand name in a store. The Queen Pillowtop mattress was delivered yesterday with the packaging in good order. I unpacked it (nice mattress cover fitted, btw) and there was a very slight latex smell which dissipated almost immediately and after a couple of hours, the mattress was "inflated" to full size, along with the two queen pillows I ordered, so I put on the mattress pad and a set of sheets and enjoyed a great night's sleep! No 2am wakeups (which happened regularly) and I woke up at 5:00am feeling rested with no back-ache (which happened regularly.

This mattress works for me, at least based on one night - time will tell, but so far I like it a lot. And for the price, you can't beat it.

Pros: Honestly can't tell the difference from the feel of this mattress to Tempurpedic's $3500 Celebrity mattress. The smell IS NOT EVEN CLOSE to as bad as some reviewers made it sound. It had a slight paint like smell that was completely gone after 3 hours. The mattress came very compact but expanded quickly and evenly after unpacking it. I did alot of research before purchasing this mattress and i can honestly say i could not be more pleased!
Dynasty mattress sent me a tracking number the day after payment and i had the mattress 4 business days later.

Cons: I don't get to wake up with a sore back anymore.. :(

Even though this is a review section for the King size, I purchased the Queen mattress with the 12" foam and 5" pillowtop in March of 2010 which appears to no longer be available and so when attempting to leave a review now, it's directing me here. Hopefully you'll be better off with the 13" and 5.5" pillowtop. That said...

When my mattress first arrived, it smelled really strong. We aired it out for over a week, couldn't wait any longer and in addition to putting sheets on it, we also laid down 2 blankets under us to insulate us from the strong fumes. After about a month the worst of the fumes were gone, it was probably almost 2 months before the smell was completely gone. The people reviewing similar beds and also saying that they were sleeping on it within just a few days - either they're olfactory senses are dead from a lifetime of inhaling toxicity, or the manufacturing process is inconsistent, which would not speak well for the product itself.

For about 8-9 months, the mattress was great. In early 2011, my side of the mattress started to kind of cave in. The foam has become really soft, and I sink in too deep into the mattress, so much so that the middle of the bed is still firm, and so it's created a slope in addition to how mushy my side of the bed has become, and so I wake up sometimes during the night because of how uncomfortable I've become and so my back starts to hurt mildly. For some reason, my wife's side of the bed is still good. I am not a huge, obese person so, I'm not really understanding how this could happen. I want to return it, but the shipping is probably going to be prohibitive, and so I'm not sure what I can do at this point. I can no longer sleep in, it's a pointless endeavor. I feel like I threw $650 down the drain, or maybe only $325, seeing as my wife's half of the mattress is still good :-/

The bed seems rather comfortable, but I can not yet give an accurate review as the smell is so irritating that I can not bear to lay on it for more than a few minutes. We have had three fans running for 5 days now with all windows open and it still stinks. Our eyes water, noses burn and a headache starts within minutes. It is quite disappointing as we have a new mattress that we are not able to sleep on. We have been camping out in the kids' rooms.

I was happy first as i received the mattress, very fast shipment, great communication with the seller. But unfortunately this mattress wasn't the best choice for my back as it gets softer after couple of days of sleeping on it, even that I weight 159lb, its still going deeper and deeper. To return it, not so easy, once you unpacked it from vacuum sealed bag, you will never get the same thin shape of it, to send it back will cost you the price of the mattress.

My husband and I absolutely love this bed. We were a little worried after reading some reviews, but tried it anyway.
It did have a slight latex odor the first couple of nights, but we were able to sleep on it the first night without any problems.
