About the Author

C. S. Copeland has worked for A-list actors, Grammy winning performers, movie studio heads, CEOs of major corporations, top producers, directors, and entrepreneurs. He landed one coveted Personal Assistant position by being the first of fifty people to find a rare exotic car (one of only three hundred made). He scored a private box for a Madonna concert one day before the concert, and when the client wasn't happy with the location, he was able to get a second, more coveted, private box on the day of the concert. He's lived on a secluded island with moguls like Paul Allen. Has flown in everything from puddle jumpers to private jets, Citation Tens, Gulfstream IV & Vs, to the now retired Concord, the fastest commercial plane. He's also washed dishes for eighty, cooked for twelve, thrown parties together for 200-1000 people, arranged transportation for an Ocelot (an American wildcat), shopped at the top fashion stores in Los Angeles and New York, held off a screaming mob of fans, held someone's hand while they were getting a tattoo, and changed diapers, light bulbs on the front porch, and the oil in a car. The point is, he's done a number of jobs both large and small and has learned to take pride in every task given. It's what is expected of a Personal Assistant and why he is top in his field.

More About the Author

Craig Copeland is the author of the book Finish What You Start and owner/founder of the Reach Now Institute, whose mission is to increase their client's personal and professional success rates, and personal growth, by training them to clearly focus on reaching their goals and objectives, and to ultimately finish what they start with success.

Prior to his work with Reach Now Institute, Craig worked as a high-level Personal assistant for 15 years for some of the top CEOs of major corporations, Entrepreneurs, Venture Capitalist, top Producers, Directors, A-list actors, Grammy winning performers, and heads of major movie studios.

In 2009 he was chosen by Celeb Staff Magazine as one of the Best of the Best Personal Assistants and ranked among the top in elite household and business staffing. His first book, The Celebrity Assistant's Handbook is considered to be an authoritative nuts and bolts guide for the industry.

He's been a speaker for several years and has recently begun speaking at seminars through his company the Reach Now Institute which is based on his new book Finish What You Start: Unlocking The Success Secrets of the Top 1%.
Part of his speaking and seminar training comes from a background while working as the Executive Personal Assistant for several years for two top motivational speakers and trainers; Eben Pagan, and Neil Strauss.

Working for Eben Pagan whose companies Get Altitude and Wake Up Productive offers one of the leading motivational and improvement courses for top entrepreneurs, marketing professionals, and successful business people, has been a great training ground for Craig. It was here that he learned from Eben Pagan and his associates how to put together successful seminar programs as well as creating impactful marketing, promotions, and the right techniques for writing a book that sells.

He also worked for Neil Strauss the author of The Game and Emergency which have both been highly successful best sellers. Neil has also established himself as a successful seminar teacher. Craig has personally been a guest speaker at several of Neil's workshops as well as assisting in creating the seminar programs.

Additionally, Craig has worked for several years as a trained Crisis Intervention Counselor logging hundreds of hours counseling, and working with people on how to improve their lives to make a difference.
His commitment to contributing back to the world through volunteer work includes; Hillsides Home for Children, Women's Cancer Research Fund, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Much Love Animal Rescue, Friends of Barrington Dog Park, Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), We Are Family: Disaster Relief Fund, Children of the Night, Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, Musicians Assistance Program Awards (MAP), Ronald McDonald House.

His life goal is to create his foundation he calls the Theophilus North Foundation, named after his cherished Aussie Shepherd, whose focus will be to enable third-world children to attend school, to also feed and clothe these children, and to increase the United States' ability to feed and provide healthy nutritious meals to millions of starving people in America.

2.0 out of 5 stars Generic and typical, September 23, 2010
This review is from: The Celebrity Assistant's Handbook: How To Successfully Work With Celebrities, Billionaires, And The Top One Percent (Paperback)
This book is very typical for its kind. It's very generic and offers nothing of any real value. How to help you network, he writes, do extra work! Totally ridiculous. Also, the book is full of typos and other errors. How can this guy tell you to be perfect for your boss and he can't even pay an editor to review this book for errors. I've read almost every personal assistant book out there and have not found a good one yet.
