You know how sequels are almost always terrible compared to the first? Not this one. I am glad to say that Volume 2 is a great addition to the series. In fact, it is jam-packed with gorgeous actresses and just like Volume 1 , really rare stuff and runs just under 5 hours.

What I found really curious was that many of the European actresses had transitioned from a mainstream film to a porno film career and back. Lilli Carati and Karin Schubert come to mind. Also, that early in their career many of them appeared nude in films and then came to regret it later, like Priscilla Barnes and Ingrid Steeger.

The whole series so far is great, I am hoping they continue to track down those early rare films. One point I want to make is that several of the scenes are obviously taken from VHS, but if this is the only way to see them, who cares. Actually, I don't mind seeing them that way, it makes the trip back to the seventies feel more authentic. Valuable addition to my collection. More, More, More!!

This DVD is just great, maybe even better than Volume 1. I particularly love the addition of numerous European actresses. Ornella Muti, Christina Lindberg, Elenora Giorgi, Laura Antonelli, the list goes on.

I can't say anything bad about this series, the cool thing is that the bios really set up the scenes so well. I have seen websites that have some of these scenes available for purchase and download but when you watch it within this context, it's so much more enjoyable. They seem to always pick great scenes. Plus, I like watching it on the big screen.

Can't get enough. For the price it's a bargain, money well spent.

I was intrigued by the packaging and thought that this looks interesting enough and hey, for $20, why not?

Here is my honest review:
1)The creators could have easily just thrown together any bunch of scenes that you can download from [...] and hundreds of other sites. But, here lies a huge difference that makes the viewing much more fun. They obviously did their homework and have uncovered an enormous collection of extremely rare scenes that you just cannot find by trying to locate them through typical retailers like Amazon or Netflix. Here lies the brilliance of this DVD series, it is unique and invaluable.

2) Citrus Cinema divided up all the scenes and placed them within a historical context (in this case the 70's) and added funky 70's music, that makes it feel as if this film were made in that time.

3) The inclusion of the extensive bios and facts on each actress and film adds much needed commentary before seeing the clips. This educational aspect really does make it an all-around worthwhile experience. So many of the actresses are pretty unknown in the US, but that does not reduce their importance and significance to their contributions to world cinema. Kudos to them for being diligent and adding this feature.

4) The selection of beautiful actresses is fantastic. Gloria Guida vs. Lindsay Lohan, Phyllis Davis vs. Britney Spears, Ha! Today's women (if you can call them that) cannot even come close to the beauty and sensuality of the women of this period.

5) The DVD is set up by chapters for each year, the insert gives you each actress in the year. You can easily jump to each actress by advancing each smaller chapter for easy navigation. The Bonus feature at the end was great, quick but great scenes.

6) The DVD runs almost 5 hours and has 100 gorgeous actresses of the 70's. They all get naked (boobs and/or butt, and the majority full frontal) The majority of the scenes are very sexy, many of these films were softcore exploitation, and unlike todays films, attention was given to good cinematography and story. I just read another reviewer who was not happy. Perhaps, he was looking for porn and could not read the product description and blew all his lunch money. Would you trust a review from someone named Thumper from Jersey? These actresses did not partake in today's popular sex tape scandals like Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson and he seems to be looking for that.

So if you are looking for porn, then stick to porn sites. This DVD displays the actresses that in most cases only showed boob and/or butt, sometimes only once, in their careers. This 'first or only nude scene' aspect makes this film worthwhile. It's like discovering gold, seeing a long-forgotten celebrity in her only nude scene is exciting, it stays in your mind forever, and I thank the creators of this series for painstakingly putting this together.

I never really had a chance to watch many of these films when they first played. Matter of fact, I can't remember any of them in any theaters in Bridgeport growing up.

After watching this rapid-fire barrage of sexy, beautiful naked actresses, I need to see more of them. I enjoyed seeing Barbara Bouchet, Nadia Cassini, Paola Morra, Eleonora Giorgi, Gloria Guida and my personal fave Ornella Muti. It is true that European women are the most beautiful in the world.

The Quick Peaks was a nice addition and I found the menu insert very helpful to go straight to the scenes I wanted first. It is almost 5 hours long so get comfortable.

If you enjoy drive-in, exploitation and those silly (but fun) sex comedies from Europe served up with a generous helping of T&A, and a side order of actress/movie bios, then you will enjoy this DVD very much.

This sequel is definitely better that vol 1, and vol 1 was really good. The bonus "quick peaks" makes the running time almost five hours.

Sort of a video-magazine-documentary ala MrSkin. Recommended to those who like to go beyond just the everyday American celebrity nudes. Very rare stuff. Tons of long-forgotten sexy actresses and films presented with revealing bios. Enjoyable!

I don't know what DVD Thumper saw, but the quality of each scene on the DVD I received was very good. There were some pleasant surprise in the Extra Scene category. If you like seeing your favorite stars nude this is the video for you.

I enjoyed seeing numerous long-forgotten stars from a great period in films. Standouts were Christina Lindberg, Olivia Pascal and Koo Stark. They provided a lot of insight into each actress and films.

Many genres of films are covered with mostly drive-in exploitation and European rarities and many that are pretty hard to find.

Although most of these scenes can be found on the numerous celebrity sites out there, seeing them presented within this context is much more fun and informative. If you are looking for an entertaining documentary, this is it.

The title tells you almost everyting you need to know about this disc. The one thing I would add is that they start off each segment with a little bio about the actress that is appearing. I found the bio a very interesting addtion and much of the information supplied gave me knowledge of the individual I enjoyed.

I bought The saucy 70's Volume 1 and enjoyed it thoroughly and I have to say Volume 2 was also great and so very loooooooong. But no complaints, once again really obscure stuff especially the films from Europe. Really informative stuff and great packaging too. Quick Peaks extras was fun. Good value. Bring on the 80's!!!!!
