Celeron M Processor 743 versus Core 2 Solo SU3500 The new Acer 1410 comes with the Celeron 743 processor and Windows 7 instead of the Core 2 Solo SU3500 with XP. The Celeron looks like a lessor processor. Would it be worthwhile to get the Core 2 Solo and take the extra step of installing Windows 7 from the free upgrade?

Acer Aspire AS1410-2285 11.6-Inch Black Laptop (Windows 7 Home Premium)

Dual-Core processor and Windows 7

Otherwise, the SU3500 looks to be better both in performance and power consumption (few Celerons get speedstep, although the SU2300 does have it).

Does the core 2 solo version come with a free upgrade to windows 7? I wasn't able to find that anywhere, could you give me a link?

Also, the model with the core duo processor is currently unavailable. I couldn't find any information if its been discontinued or not, anyone know if its coming back?
