beautiful electro-psychedelic space folk music,
By Charlie Quaker "The Quaker Goes Deaf" (Normal, IL.) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Celeste (Audio CD)
2nd release from this London band is strange & dreamy, with stunningly beautiful washes of
very warm sophisticated folk/pop; plus tons of gorgeous harmonies and a jazzy, sweet aura that is ultimately pure & addictive. There are prevalent strains of "Kosmiche" music and a touch of old-school psychedelics here as well. It has the feel of something you would want to hear on vinyl--the kind of sound that should be floating on a turntable when you open your eyes. Sort of like Stereolab/Broadcast with a more retro space/folk flair. An exceptionally nice, cozy sound.
