A Tremendous Book!, February 20, 2006
This review is from: Celestial Harmony: A Guide to Horoscope Interpretation (Paperback)
Best known for his Karmic Astrology: The Moon's Nodes and Reincarnation, Schulman is an astrologer and occult writer of great talent and prescience. Together with several other volumes publshed by Weiser Books, this particular volume is Mr. Schulman's primer on what makes a natal chart "work." Like his other books, Celestial Harmony is short--168 pp. in all--but is jam-packed with tightly written, efficiently delivered information. In no other volume of this size will you find so complete a range of astrological topics, from the basics of planetary energies and the houses, to decanates, duads and hemispheric analysis of natal charts. Schulman is a recognized authority on the arcane details of occult astrology--this book delivers the entire spectrum with great clarity. One of the highlights of this volume are his extremely interesting analyses of Abraham Lincoln and Franz Kafka! I have found that his succinct treatment of the planets is as good as anything you'll find out there.
It's a shame this book is no longer in print. I recommend it to all astrology students I know, both amateur and professional. It is truly a great book!
