all right by me !!!,

This review is from: Celestial Seasonings Herb Tea, Tangerine Orange Zinger, 20-Count Tea Bags (Pack of 6) (Grocery)
This Tangerine Orange Zinger herbal tea provides a luscious and refreshing break from your daily grind and helps you relax as well. It's got a great taste to it that is not overpowering and if you let it steep about three and one-half minutes you're bound to enjoy it as much as I do! As another reviewer notes, the main effect is a distinctly citrus scent and taste tweaked just a bit for a really full bodied flavor and aroma.
Each bag contains the natural ingredients of red hibiscus tea with orange peel and natural tangerine flavor. There are no artificial ingredients! Celestial Seasonings even added some vitamin C to make this even better for you! The stringless tea bags can easily be removed from your cup whenever you want just by using a spoon or anything similar to get them out of the cup. Stir the tea bag around and up and down a bit while it's in your cup before you drink it. The tea is also caffeine free, which is a plus for those of us who don't want caffeine in our diets. That is something I always prefer. If you like a special type of citrus flavor to your tea, this is highly recommended! Enjoy!

Tangy-rich citrus flavor!,

This is one of the more sucessful of Celestial Seasonings Zinger genre. In this case the flavor of rose hips and hibiscus does not overpower the other flavors (unless you brew longer than 4 minutes). The aroma of this ruby potion is deliciously citrus and full bodied. The flavor of the tea is sweet red grapefruit and orange. Very tasty! I imagine this would make an excellent ice tea. Also, it is caffeine free and has added vitamin C--45 mg.
Celestial Seasonings gets extra points for their packaging: they utilize 100% natural recycled paperboard in their boxes and they don't package each tea bag individually. Instead they use a system of a waxed paper bag inside the box that stays shut when you fold it. It keeps the bags fresh and utilizes less packaging than individually wrapping each bag. The art they use on each box is beautiful as are the quotes and information they put on every surface. Quote from the box: "Be in readiness for favorable winds." Chinese Proverb.

Beautiful rosy-red orange tea,

The original Red Zinger formula had about twenty herbs and made a red, sour-sweet minty tea that was original and popular. The formula was revised maybe 20 years ago to a simpler hibiscus-rose hip mix and still makes a nice, red tea. Various fruit essences were added, such as raspberry, mountain berries and now tangerine orange. This is somewhat different than Mandarin Spice (no cinnamon or clove) and it's very like Red Zinger with a slight tangerine overtone. It's delicious hot, but if you like juices or your kids love juice, you can make up this tea to a rather strong brew, chill it, and mix it fifty-fifty with your juice of choice (apple, cranberry, grape for example. I don't think orange would be that good, but it might, who knows?)
The idea is to cut the sugar of juices down and still have a refreshing cold beverage. Drinking this mixed with juice will cut your sugar intake and your juice bill. And it's a healthy tea. We drink it all winter long, keeping a hot water pot going and making big mugs of tea to stay hydrated and it even keeps you warm. Sipping hot, sugar-free tea keeps you from eating junk, satisfies your sweet tooth and keeps you away from artificial sweeteners, caffeine and other less-healthy beverages.

Too Much Zinger and Not Enough Orange,
By
This review is from: Celestial Seasonings Herb Tea, Tangerine Orange Zinger, 20-Count Tea Bags (Pack of 6) (Grocery)
Usually I am very pleased with the ratings on things in Amazon. Maybe it was the set of boxes I got, but I can taste no orange in the orange zinger tea. We only can taste the spices. Very disappointing.

Zinger Delight,

I have become a tea connoisseur due to my physicians pushing me to increase my fluids. Herbal teas that are all natural meet their restrictions.
Some of the "teas" I tried were too fruity and gave off a spoiled fruit aroma after several days. Where could I find tea that would keep its pleasantness? Tangerine Orange Zinger met my demands. This teas is tasty and flavorful. It is a great drink with or without sweetener. The tea has all natural ingredients: such as hibiscus, rosehips, blackberry leaves, natural tangerine and orange flavor. This tea is a "zinger," distinct with effervescent tangerines, oranges, and a bit of passion fruit with sweet tart hibiscus. This tea is soothing when hot and refreshing when cold. I recommend this tea.

This is my favorite herbal tea. It was love at first taste. Sort of an orange with a tangerine twang! Each teabag has 75% of your vitamin C MDR!!!

My husband loves Tangerine Orange Zinger tea, but it is hard to find. I used to buy 2 to 4 boxes a week from a local grocery, but they decided not to carry it, and did not respond to my request to bring it back. Other local stores charge $1.50 more per box, so I decided to look elsewhere.
I found several places on the web that sell this tea, but I would have had to buy 24 boxes to get the price I wanted, AND pay shipping charges. In the end Amazon offered the lowest price ($2.17/box), and no shipping cost when I bought $25+ worth of product. That was only 12 boxes which may seem like a lot, but the tea is cellophane sealed, and won't go bad. If you drink lots of tea buying from Amazon will likely be your best value.

Someone gave us a lovely crock and we decided to keep iced tea in our refrigerator. But we wanted a tea everyone could enjoy, not just the grownups. I bought a sampler pack of all the zingers, and we did a family taste test. Tangerine Zinger won every round!
Now we make a crock of tea once a week or so. We experimented to find the method that makes the best flavor and here's what we do: Boil a kettle of water. Put 10 bags (half a box) in the crock. Pour the hot water in and let the bags steep an hour or overnight. Take the bags out, fill the rest of the crock up with water, and put in the fridge to cool. This is such a great alternative to sodas and black tea. Whenever we offer iced tea people say no until we tell them it's herbal, then the compliments start. It's great to see kids helping themselves, and it's so refreshing! Costs us about $1.50 per week.

This is my favorite citrus flavored tea on the market. It has a bit of bite to it that is nice and refreshing. It's great served hot with a little honey to sweeten it, but it's great cold as well. I like to make 'sun tea' with it in a gallon water jug left out in the sun for several hours. Use 4-5 teabags depending on your taste.
