Replaced Sheffield 1290 in my Peavey Valve King 112 50 watt combo. Strong, clear tones. Good on clean, great on hi-gain. More "modern" sounding than the Vintage 30. FAR superior to the original valve king speaker the amp came with. Give it a try - you'll like it!!!
