Celestion G12-65 Heritage speaker - the very best,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Celestion G12-65 Heritage Guitar Speaker, 8 Ohm (Electronics)
Very good speker that covers a lot of ground, rock, blues, Jazz, fusion. Good bottom end does hot get flabby like the 12 h's when pushed hard. Speker is worth every penny. Using it with Ken Fisher tweaked 5881 Komet amp, Bruno super 100, two rock amps, and Dumble ODS. Works great and sounds good with all these amps.

Not as mushy as G12 30 greens.,

I can't say for sure about these brand new G12 30 reissues, but I have an old angle top 4x12 with four ORIGINAL VINTAGE mid-70s G12 30s and a Carvin 4x12 angle top with late model G12 30 reissue greens in it and the one with the normal G12 30s sounds noticibly less mushy than the Carvin with the repro greenies in it does. So much so that I sometimes set the Carvin with the greenies in it on top of my Trace Elliot 1x18 as a large party type bass stack (Gallien Kruger 800RB on top).
