I don't believe that it can. To be honest I ended you getting rid of mine because it was very flimsy, ie if you were to adjust the buttons on the screen it would shift the field if view and you would have to reorient yourself. I would recommend purchasing a different microscope if you'll be manipulating the screen often, something heavier and not as finicky.

Yes you can. It has all the neccessary ports for such viewing.

Hold the on button down for 8 seconds. It is below the screen. Ensure you have power by turning the dials for the two stage lights. Dials are on the base.

You have to turn on the LCD screen...hold down the power button on the LCD screen for a few seconds and it will come on. And of course you have to have something on a slide to look at!
