I bought this as a package with the Celestron microscope. I tried them. Poor quality both with fine focus and with capturing pictures.

A nice toy..but just a toy,

I purchased this item based on the infos available on the net. Looking at the price, the expectations were not very high. The real performances of the item are very, very poor. The image is very noisy and unstable, blurry even in a focused position. I had much better performances with a regular webcam with a 10x ocular instead of front lens.
Bottom line, this is just a toy providing low quality images. At this moment I keep it just as a reminder to not buy anymore cheap things.

Purchased this item to capture a dissection live for instruction. Camera fit nicely into the port on the microscope and installation of the software was easy.
