Yes if you hold the scope far enough away from it. I can take clear pictures of paintings on my wall. I can also see crystal in a grain of sand. It will produce such image the size of your monitor . It will make a movie so that you can manipulate the item you are magnifying or take a snapshot of such item.

Aye. It does come with a stand. The microscope clips into it. The stand is designed to hold the microscope steady above whatever it's resting on - it's not a microscope stage. Both the clip and the base swivels on ball joints and there's a screw that tightens the whole assembly once you have it in the position you want.

The microscope is basically a usb camera. If your tv can display a usb camera input it will work. The shortcoming is you will not get the benefits of the software that allows you to measure the image as well as save it as a jpg for future reference or to send it to someone else for their input.

Yes, this microscope does stream instant video. So long as the height and location of the previous coin that was being viewed matches where the new coin will be , then yes this will do the trick. be sure that the coin that you are looking at is on a flat surface. If you are looking at this with your hands it may be difficult to maintain clarity.

Excellent scope, does not take pic's on a mac unless you have lion installed. The better one with adjustable lite is better on windows system.

Yes. I tried focusing on objects out my window about 30 feet away and it was able to focus on them.

I did a search at Amazon for the 44302-B and it appears to be a new model listed for $105.09!! As opposed to $40 for the other one. Not a lot of details, though. Look at the Celestron web site.
