Celia's first and (sadly) only collaboration with Sonora Poncena yielded this truly amazing and timeless album which features the immortal classics "Sonaremos El Tambor", "Fina Estampa" and the glorious "La Ceiba Y La Siguaraya". The pairing of the Queen of Salsa with one of Puerto Rico's greatest and most dearly loved musical institutions resulted in sheer musical magic as evidenced by the three above-mentioned tracks. No serious salsero's collection is complete without this superb CD.

I've been looking to buy this album again for the longest time. I had it on cassette when I used to have close to 200 of them. I am so glad I can come in here, find my favorite music at a low price, have it delivered perfectly almost all the time, sometimes the Cd box gets cracked due to handling, but most of the time I am able to hear the music I love again and remind myself of the greatest time of my life. This album should be in any self respecting collectors collection. I am not a great collector but a collector non the less. Get it, listen to it and thank me later.

Why can't Fania re-issue Sonora's album, Sonora Pal Bailador?
This album is great. I miss Celia...this Salsa is forever!!
