5.0 out of 5 stars To the point
I was overwhelmed with the amount of products which were not safe for celiacs and i didn't know where to start! Reading this book not only put it in a clear and straight forward way to help me understand it and look for the right things, but also gave a positive outlook about living with celiac disease. Clear, concise, positive, and informative. A smart read!

When I read the review for this book I though it would have a lot of information about cd in general. Once i fully read the book there was mostly information on label reading, All products good and bad for someone with cd are in this book. There is name after name after name of ingredients to look at while you do your label reading, someone that has recently been dx...

I have been fumbling around with grocery guides for SO long! and I can't count how many times I still got sick with items listed as safe. My friend with MS also struggles with gluten and had this terrific little book and suggested it to me - and wow! Besides the fact that it is so much smarter and safer to check actual ingredients AS YOU BUY THEM (not from reports that are 2 years old, and thicker than the yellow pages). This guide is so small, I keep it in my purse and bring it everywhere now. I bought it just for the safe/unsafe lists, and was pleasantly surprised to find great tips plus a section at the back with great ideas that was really encouraging. Safety at your fingertips for barely the price of 2 magazines -don't think twice, just order it! This little gem is never leaving my side!

When a close family member of mine was recently diagnosed with celiac disease, we did not know too much about it. This book clearly helped us understand what it consisted of, how to cope, and how to adjust in the most efficient and concise way. This was a helpful read, easy to understand and above all, gave us hope this disease isn't as limiting in life styles as one might think. Full of good information and helpful tips. I recommend this book to everyone!

Once i fully read the book there was mostly information on label reading, All products good and bad for someone with cd are in this book. There is name after name after name of ingredients to look at while you do your label reading, someone that has recently been dx with cd might find this book information overload. It is nice because it is somewhat small and thin so if you want to take it shopping with you that is possible.

Great find. I'm so happy and relieved i found this book. Before i bought this book, i tried to do my own research and still ended up buying the wrong food which made me sick. This book is very thorough yet compact and gives me a truly complete list of the kinds of foods i can eat and what i should stay away from. I would recommend this book to everyone suffering with celiac or knows someone who is.
