A sensitive book,

This review is from: Celibacy: A Way of Loving, Living, and Serving (Paperback)
This book as very good and sensitive and well thought out. What I would have liked to see is a chapter on actual day to day help. Prayer and taking it day to day is useful. Not getting yourself in sitution is useful.
But I hoped for somthing more in the vein of cold shower, etc which does not work. But gentle information how to deal with your sexuality and lead it into something cont4ainable without discomfort. Something to take the edge of sexulity. Nonetheless I learned a lot. Also too much was made of loneliness, we are all alone and althogh it said that, that I think is not the greatest problem. I also would liked some answer why no guilt, if the vocation is so important that no guilt is experienced by misuse of women or boys, this does not lie uncomfortable with the vocationof in the footsteps of Christ Overall a very good book L. This review is from: Celibacy: A Way of Loving, Living, and Serving (Paperback)
A serious discussion of celibacy; it is not radical, it is not challenging. It is a resource for those who want to, or are exploring the "why" of celibacy and how it is a gift, a way to a clearer relationship with G_d and with others.
