It's SOOO funny, and SOOO true! Thank-you from the
bottom of my heart for allowing us to see inside your mind and read and feel your humourous and sensible thoughts on cellphone etiquette. My own kids are just little and I will be making sure I role model to them how I hope they will respect and regard their future cellphones. Your book is not only incredibly fun to read but also gives some straight forward, common courtesy, as well as sensible safety lessons on how we should be treating our cell phones and more importantly those nearby us while we are on our phones! ;o) Thanks Michelle, great job! I think ALL cellphone owners should grab a copy of your book! They'll LOVE it! Cheers...Amanda van der Gulik...Excited Life Enthusiast! ;o) [...]

You'll want to read this (quick, easy, informative) book to get the "secret decoder ring" so you can understand your kids' text messages! The title of this review in translated to be: "Thanks for letting me share, This is so cool, Works for me, Need I say more?" Some good advice for cell phone manners, plus this great list of text-message shorthand. Which I am now memorizing so I can communicate with my kids... and decipher their messages to each other. :-)

Parents should make their children read this to "qualify" for cellphones.,
This review is from: Cell Phone Etiquette: Observations from a Mom (Paperback)
Do cellphones reveal an inherent rudeness in some people, or do cellphones cause some people to become rude? No matter what the answer is, Michelle Cimino is on a mission. As the mother of two teenagers, Cimino is on a mission to tell engaging stories about what works and does not work with cellphones. Courtesy seems to be the biggest victim of cellphone use, and Cimino gives lots of motherly advice about being more courteous with one's cellphone. I would recommend Cell Phone Etiquette by Michelle Cimino to all parents who are about to give their children cellphones. Every parent facing this situation should read this humorous and educational book first. And then he or she should make each child who is about to get a cellphone read the book, too. Perhaps the parent should even test the child for comprehension of the subject matter before "qualifying" the child to get a cellphone. Talk about using cellphones to improve communication! -- Kirk Mahoney, Ph.D., [...]
