Everyone knows that entering and editing your cell phonebook from your cell phone is time consuming and difficult to do. Using CellStik Central, a simple to use PC application, you can add, delete and edit your cell phone contacts using a full-sized PC keyboard. Once you have all your contacts the way you want them, simply plug the device into your phone and transfer them over quickly and easily. And if you don't want to use a PC, that's okay, too. The CellStik allows you to transfer all of your cell phone contacts from one CellStik compatible cell phone to another. If the CellStik supports both your old cell phone and new cell phone, then simply backup your phonebook from the old phone and plug in CellStik to the new phone and press the update button.

The CellStik's green and red status lights offer ease of use, while the one step, push button design makes for easy upload/download of your cell phone contacts. With CellStik, all you have to do is plug it into your cell phone, hold the "save" button and you're done. The device is easily upgradeable to support new cell phone models, and the USB connector means it's universally compatible with USB-enabled PCs. Pro: So simple anyone can use it; interfaces flawlessly with LG VX3300; keep a backup of your contacts in a safe place; a family with several mobiles can clone their contacts.

Con: Included software has no import for Palm, Outlook, etc; user interface has a somewhat odd look-and-feel

It's possible to open your contacts and copy-n-paste Name, Number, etc. into the included software but it's tedious. Really needs an import. Much easier than entering contacts directly into the mobile, though.

could not download my numbers to the device and tech support was not helpful. I have an LG phone.

Sure it works as designed. Intended to backup your contacts on your phone. Although I had the understanding that I could copy the contacts to my computer and/or import them into Outlook. As far as I can see (correct me if I'm wrong) all I can do is edit and create contacts stored on the cellstick from my computer. I don't see a way to export them to any importable format for my computer. Or copy contacts from Outlook onto the cellstick for transfer to my phone. Not a big deal though, obviously if I need the cellstick to begin with that just means I didn't invest much in my phone in the beginning. I'm learning I just need a new phone.
