1.0 out of 5 stars NOT erotic! I was very disappointed!, December 3, 2004

For a women-in-prison film to be any good it's GOT to have at least ONE of the ESSENTIAL scenes listed below:

1) A kinky lesbian female warden preying upon her pretty young female inmates.

2) An evil, decadent lesbian guard turning pretty female inmates into her sexual playthings.

3) Tough, dominant female inmates having sex with the pretty new female inmates.

4) An obligatory lesbian shower scene.

This flick has NONE OF THE ABOVE!!! It's NOT EROTIC! Yes, there's some nudity. Yes, the casting is excellent. But NO, the eroticism DOESN'T EXIST! Instead there's some fist-fighting, shooting, and stabbing. Not erotic. Why did they make a women-in-prison film with no girl-girl stuff? What is their problem?

There's a moment late in this video when innocent pretty blonde May (Gail Harris) beats up evil dykey Manny (Jenna Bodner), but then declines to finish her off, telling her: "You're not worth it you piece of sh*t!" Well, that's exactly how I felt about this video after watching it. Exactly.

4.0 out of 5 stars Erotica behind bars, September 3, 2004

I admit it: the primary domain of this movie lies within the category of male fantasy. Yes, there is an actual & real-live plot, but there is no question as to whom the "target-audience" of this film is intended to be.

The film details two sisters who are "sold" off by their useless father. Their names are April & May (not sure if that's supposed to be funny or not?). May ends up in England and is raised by a cultered & nurturing family. Sadly, April is sent to an abusive home and ends up in an outlaw biker gang.

[I stress that this PARTICULAR biker gang is full of renegades as, obviously, calling all biker gangs outlaws is an absurd and unwarranted stereotype].

Back to the story. About 16 years after being separated, April tracks down May (both are now in their early 20s) and the two re-unite in California. Unfortunately, April makes the less than wise decision of killing their father out of revenge, and May gets pinned with the blame.

For a "B" movie, the plot of this film is pretty decent. Not Academy Award calibre to be sure, but decent. More importantly, the film delivers on its tacit promise of plenty of nudity of several women. Except for a handful of extras, basically every attractive woman in the film takes her clothes off at least once.

On the downside, some of the acting is pretty pathetic. Also, the action scenes are dismal and certainly don't have anything on Jet Li movies. There are also some holes in the plot, such as April being depicted as a Hispanic as a little girl, but miraculously turning into a blonde years later.

In the end, however, if babes in prison is your thing, then you're certain to be satisfied by this flick. Gail Harris is stunning as May, and she even does a credible acting job. Not sure if this is the type of film she would WANT to put on her resume, but I wouldn't mind seeing her in more flicks.

2.0 out of 5 stars could have seen better on TV, December 29, 2005

This movie is trying to show how little April, and her younger sister May (I'm not making up those names) turned to a life of crime; well, April at least.

When they were little girls they had a drug fiend for a mother. Some worthless guy she shaked up with sold both girls for 5000 dollars, and she cound stop him. Their mother tried to stop him and he killed her. (Unrealistic)

May goes to a nice family in England and has a good life; her sister April (who started out hispanic) gets brought up by a US biker gang (also unrealistic).

They kill the man who killed their mother and May gets caught and goes to prison (never seen a prison like that)

I was mislead!! The reviews said there was lesbian sex (NO); it also said that a lesbian warden granted her special favors for her doing stuff with her. I never saw that.

The only thing that makes this an R movie is because there's brief frontal nudity, and foul laungage.

TV could quickly edit that out and this would make another LAME sunday movie.
