5.0 out of 5 stars A must have
This product was recommended to me by my esthetician after I complained to her how I wasn't getting good results from my department store products. So I gave it a try and am so happy with it. I have fairly oily skin and this product goes on and just seems to disappear but leaves my skin soft and smooth. I highly recommend it.

There is nothing particular about this creme that makes it distinct from any other less expensive product. The smell can be unpleasant, similar to natural gas and oil products. Will use it up and not buy it again.

5.0 out of 5 stars very good for sensitive and break-out prone skin, September 4, 2005
I've been in the beauty industry for 8 years, and this is one of the best moisturizers I've ever used. My skin is fair and sensitive, prone to breakout. This moisturizer didn't upset my skin at all, and did make my skin feel like silk. This doesn't have sunsreen, so in the morning I always put a light-weight oil-free sunscreen on.
I love this and wish I knew about it earlier, they don't sell it at any retail beauty or department stores in seattle that I know of.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent for sensitive skin, June 1, 2007

Like the reviewer below me said, I have sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts. There are very few products I can use other than Proactiv that don't irritate my skin, but this is one of them. I use it as a night time moisturizer since it doesn't contain SPF. When I wake up, my skin is so soft and never bothered by the product. From time to time, I will use it in the day time and it NEVER leaves any greasy residue. I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone with sensitive skin looking for a good moisturizer!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product!, January 17, 2010

My dermatologist recommended this to me and now I'm a repeat buyer.

This is really a great, non-greasy moisturizer, and a nice alternative to Philosophy's Hope in a Jar (which I also use and recommend.)

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent moisturizer for combination/oily skin, April 20, 2005
I have combination/oily skin with a few acnes. I use it as a night cream because it doesn't contain sunscreen ingredients. This moisturizer does a great job on hydrating my skin without making it oily. I have never had breakouts after using it at night (Now my breakouts only happen during the day). Great stuff. Perfect for spring/summer. Will buy it again.

Again, I have used this product for years and loved it. It lasts and I have had wonderful results. When I could no longer find it in my area it was delightful to find it at amazon.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Holy Grail Product!, September 20, 2011
I have very oily skin that is prone to break outs. After using acne products that caused dry patches on my face, I was on the hunt for a good moisturizer. I tried every drug store product I could get my hands on and most made my skin even more oily and irritated. I then turned to more high-end products that balanced my skin, but did nothing for the dry patches. There is nothing more frustrating than spending time applying makeup only to see dry, flaky patches of skin on your face! 2 years ago an employee at Sephora recommended that I try Cellex-C (this was during the short period of time Sephora supplied Cellex-C)and after using it for a week I noticed that not only did it balance the oiliness of my skin, but it made my skin softer. It immediately combated the dry, flaky patches I was dealing with and it did not make me break out. After consistent use day and night my skin tone evened out, and I began to get compliments on how great my skin looked! Due to the priciness of this product and the unavailabilty to purchase it in department stores I ignorantly stopped using it for 6 months and again tried other products that were conveniently more attainable in department stores. Nothing has given me the effects that Cellex-C has given me, and all products I have tried have turned out to be disappointments and wasted money. If you have sensitive, oily, and acne prone skin, I highly recommend this product for you!

4.0 out of 5 stars oil free, but moisturizing, March 23, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Cellex-C Enhancer Moisturizer, Sea Silk Oil-Free, 60 ml (Health and Beauty)
I have combination oily sensitive skin with dry patches and this product helps keep my skin less oily, but still moisturized in the winter. I would not recommend in the summer though as the moisturizing effect will make skin too oily, especially in the T-Zone in warmer weather.
