5.0 out of 5 stars More Chopin February 10, 2010
Format:Audio CD
It seems as though everyone and their mothers are releasing a Chopin album this year in time for the composers 200th birthday. This one, however, does not get lost in the sea of Chopin CDs. Andreas is a brilliant young cellist who plays this group of Chopin chamber music with an exceptionally wide tonal range. These beautiful works showcase Andreas's exquisite ability for creating a wide variety of moods, from the intimate to dramatic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unrelentingly Gorgeous November 1, 2012
Format:Audio CD
I've been listening to this CD regularly for almost a year, and Andreas Brantelid plays like I would if I could. Sitting in the dark with the volume turned up, I never hear anything (tempo, intonation, shading) that feels "off" in any way. Marianna Shirinyan on piano and Vllde Frang on violin are excellent in the Trio and Duo. Pure pleasure.
