Product Description

Product Description

Recently, many studies have delivered warnings about long-term exposure to cell phone radiation and certain electromagnetic fields. But since these dangers can't be seen by the naked eye, how can you protect yourself and your family? The CellSensor EMF Detection Meter measures both of these hazards with an easy-to-read gauge that also beeps and glows when high readings are detected. The CellSensor runs on one 9-volt alkaline battery (sold separately).

4.0 out of 5 stars no need to buy high price EMF meters, August 4, 2007
By B. Stewart (Florida, USA) - See all my reviews

Works great! Push button on and go, it'll light up when EMF is detected letting you know without even looking at it, and the two modes (normal or high) are great if you need more precise or more broad of a reading, normal read 0 to 50 milligauss, and high reads 0 to 5. I haven't used the EML mode much so I won't rate that, but it does work. Plus the probe is seperate so you can move it around to get a tri-field effect for better readings. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 rating is that I don't think the range is very good, I think three, maybe four feet is the maximum range, but that's good enough for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars EMF Radiation Detector, November 14, 2007
By M. Pirnazar (Herndon, VA USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
The Cellsensor was easy to use and helped find "hot spots" (where there is too much EMF radiation) and rearrange bed or furniture so we're not exposed to the hotspots.

Most culprits: Refrigerators, stoves, light dimmers, any kind of transformer/power adapter, outdoor power lines, fuse box. I don't think I need something more sophisticated for home use.

Home Contractors should have this.

Beware: An wall may show no EMF until the wires behind it carry a load (something is plugged into a socket that uses electricity).

4.0 out of 5 stars Great little EMF meter for the price of $30., May 8, 2008
Great little EMF meter for the price of [...]. I decided to purchase this EMF meter after inquiring about a many more digital EMF meters and when I got this one I was pleasantly surprised it works well. It has sensitive setting of 1-5 mlGauss and then a normal setting of 10-50 mlGauss for typically higher level EMFs. The sensor is on a dongle connected to the meter and I've put a 3M velcro sticker to attach it to body pointing forward and able to remove it if needed.

I purchased this through Spectral Technologies on Amazon.com . It was incredibly fast shipping and the item arrived as described with tracking and no one can beat their price even with shipping costs. I put a 4 out 5 for them but they really deserve a 5 out of 5 so I removed my rating of them.
