4.0 out of 5 stars Huh?
Ms. Kitt is one of the top writers bar none, but Celluloid Memories ended a chapter or two too short. Her work is usually a sleek combination of taut plotting, superb characterization, and sizzlingly sexy, emotionally intense romance. I've read every book that she has written and she has never (to the best of my recollection) left her readers without bringing closure to...

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't Buy It!
I have read better by Ms Kitt, this starts out slow and gets even slower! No real steamy scenes,( to be a romance novel) and the Charaters seem dated. You would not know that this is a 2007 release more like a 1995. Don't waste your money. Arabesque had a good concept for Celluloid Tablloid like storyline but it wasn't executed well in this book.

This book was not good at all. The good stuff did not start happening until around page 232, which is basically almost the end of the book. It just had was too much story and not enough romance...if that makes sense. It was sooooooo boring. I have read books by Ms. Kitt before and they have been pretty good which is why I was very surprised that this one was such a mess. I hope the rest of the books in the series won't be this bad.

2.0 out of 5 stars What Happened?, September 4, 2007
This review is from: Celluloid Memories (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
This is the first novel I have read by Ms Kitt, and probably the last. The story was okay, kinda slow and then it just stopped. Like when you are watching a whodunnit and just when they are about to reveal the killer all the power goes out. That is how this story ended- It didn't! It left me looking to see if some pages were missing. It left me with so many questions. This was supposed to be a contemporary romance, where was the romance?. Again this story left a whole lot to be desired.

Any Sandra Kitt novel is absolutely addictive. So Celluloid Momories appears to be a departure from the norm. Maybe there is a sequel in the offing? I truly hope so because there were too many interesting characters left . . . . See what I mean?
