AUTHORBIO: Joan Van Patten has written hundreds of trade paper and magazine articles and is a contributor to Schroeder's Antiques Price Guide. She has been on the board of the International Nippon Collectors Club since its inception.As co-founder of the INCC, she also served as its first president and was a director of the club for many years. Joan edited and published the Nippon Notebook and the INCC Newsletter for five years. AUTHORBIO: Elmer and his wife, Peggy, have been in the antiques and collectibles business for more than 25 years. Their primary interest is porcelain and Victorian collectibles, especially the celluloid covered collectibles. They have written numerous articles for trade/antique papers and have done extensive travel throughout the U.S. taking photos and obtaining information for their book, Celluloid Treasures of the Victorian Era. AUTHORBIO: Peggy and her husband, Elmer, have been in the antiques and collectibles business for more than 25 years. Having had the chance to borrow a friend's copy, I soon found that I had to have one of my own. The photographs of these wonderful boxes are stunning and makes me wish I could have one of everything in this book. The price guides are accurate and the general information interesting.
