This is better than it looks in the picture. I am very happy with it. I was able to put it together without help, but the instructions are not totally clear so pay attention to what screws you are using & where you are putting them. The only drawback I see is that the spaces in the shelves are a bit wide items can slip through.

I love the SEI Celtic Baker's Rack so much I recommended one for my mother-in-law. She also bought one. Its a great space saver, you can use it for anything. Its very sturdy, it will hold heavy metal appliances (Kitchen-Aid, Coffee maker, Toaster Oven, Toaster,Plants,etc.). I have it in my Kitchen But you can use for any room. It looks great in any room. I would highly recommend it. Thank you.

Exactly what I wanted...smaller width fits where I wanted them perfectly! A little darker than I would have thought...maybe "charcoal" would be a better descriptive instead of "gray", but looks nice with my stainless appliances. Easy to assemble.

Nice metal bakers rack. I wouldn't call it high quality (there are a few obvious spot welds on the shelves) but it's certainly not junk either. It's one of the few racks that is small enough to fit in a small room but at the same time big enough to be useful. The lower shelves were large (and strong) enough to fit all of my wife's huge cookbooks and the upper shelves are useful for holding small dishes, etc... Assembly is as easy as it gets with only three screw sizes, one tool (included) and decent instructions.

As a last note if anyone is wondering it is made in China (unfortunately I doubt anything in this price range is/could be made in the US).

I bought this as a plant stand - it is wonderful! It was easy to put together (need an extra pair of hands), as parts are well-labelled and instructions good. The color is close to wrought iron, but not matte black. Has a hammered texture, not smooth. Look closely at measurements, as it is narrow and tall, which is exactly what I wanted. It is so versatile, could be used for dishes, books, pot stand, anything. Shelves made of flat strips 1/2" wide, not narrow round strips, so objects sit more securely.

Compare listings because price varies widely - I saw it listed for twice what I paid.

Bottom line, very sturdy, very attractive, and very useful- I love it!

Rated this 4 stars because it is what it is - a not too expensive bakers rack, as advertised. Didn't give it more stars because it's inexpensively made, so now what I'd call a high quality item.

Arrived whole and in good condition, with all the parts and even the little hex tool to put it together. Instructions also called for a screwdriver, but didn't need one, so I think that may have been an error.

Not high quality because the vertical wire bars don't line up from tier to tier, making it look a little odd unless you fill it up with stuff and hide the back. Simple hex screws to put it together, which makes it easy but no lock washers so it may need to get tightened up once in a while.

But hey, it was the right price, the right size, and FREE SHIPPING. Can't beat that when you live on Maui and you can't find a bakers rack anywhere in the stores here. Free shipping and the right size and all the parts. That's why it got 4 stars.

I ordered this for my bedroom but I think it would work in any room you wanted. The directions were fairly easy to follow and I put it together by myself in about 30-45 minutes. I'm very happy with it and think I will order another to go side by side as I can move one later if I want.

This is a really nice shelf. It is narrow, which is what I needed for the space in my garage apartment.

I have no complaint against the product, just AMAZON.COM. It's very disappointing when you order a particular color and get a complete other color. I have ordered and purchased online from a number of vendors. I have to say the only time I have had any problems with not getting what I ordered is when I purchase on AMAZON. When am I going to learn that it's not worth saving $3.00 in exchange for uncertainty. Shame on ME this time !!! I hope that I have learned my lesson THIS TIME!
