This is one soul-stirring Christmas CD that I have come to love very much! I have listened to it many times, not just during the Christmas seasons, but many times throughout the years as well. Arranged with vibrant vocals, along with some vocal textures, lively nature sounds, and performed on beautiful traditional Irish instruments, Enaid & Einalem has brought new life into these lovely Christmas classics, bringing delightful new sounds to some of my favorite Christmas carols.

One of my favorite Christmas songs is "Little Drummer Boy." I love to hear the different versions of this song, done by various different artists. To me, this wonderful CD has the best music arrangement of this melodious classic. Other favorites of mine include "Pat-a-Pan", "Coventry Carol", and "O Come O Come Emmanuel."

It is quite sad that this CD is no longer in print. However, if there is ever an opportunity to add this to your collection, this exquisite album is highly recommended!

I just love this cd, the Irish lilt blends so well with the Christmas Carols and nature sounds. I just lay down on my couch and just listen to all the water gently lapping at the seashore and hear the seagulls ever so far away make their presence known. There are owls hooting and crickets chirping. I really am glad I purchased this piece of lovely music! The piano, dulcimer, irish flutes, penny whistle, mandolin, bodhran, guitars, fiddle and harp are used throughout the soundtrack. The nature sounds are songbirds, wind, thunder, and gentle evening sounds. Some of the carols are Silent Night, which is absoulutely beautiful and brings tears to my eyes when I listen to it, Little Drummer Boy, Oh yes, my very favorite is Coventry Carol. It starts out slow and builds to the most amazing level. Well, I guess I gushed enough. Well worth the money spent!

I typically abhor synthesized music of any kind but this CD is an exception. The producer did a genius job in intertwining the soft sounds of nature and bustling villages with much loved and memory-provoking Christmas songs. It's such a shame that this is no longer in production...get it while you can because I've not found one that compares and doubt that one will. Kudos to all involved in the development of this splendid musical journey!
