I wasted all 13 of my dollars, December 17, 1999
This review is from: Celtic Gold (Audio CD)
The cd has absolutely NO real instruments in it. Everything is synthed, and even at that did a horrible job of it. Please don't torture yourself buying this cd, its not worth your money, even if it was free + shipping.

Uninspired, August 16, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Celtic Gold (Audio CD)
If you were faced with the task of introducing someone to Celtic music, then this CD should be close to the bottom of the list. The performances are generally listless and uninspired. Capercaillie are capable of better; the version of Loreena McKennitt's "The Mummer's Dance" is simply painful to listen to, as examples. There is no emotion, and certainly nothing to tap your foot to here. Go buy something else.
