Don't Listen and Drive,
By
This review is from: Celtic Harp: The Quiet Path (Audio CD)
This hour-long album is so beautiful that I want to stop whatever I'm doing and just listen. Don't plan to be "brainy" when you slide this into your CD player. No,No. Take a complete break. Sit down. Lay down. Don't be driving your car. You'll fail to realize you're IN TRAFFIC. Keep this album at home where the music can wrap you up in a warm heart-blanket of reassurance and offer you a bounty of lush sounds to enjoy while you leave stress and multi-tasking for another time. When you hear the cello, thinking and planning tasks will suddenly fall by the wayside, and then the Celtic harp --- well, the harp... that all-important to-do list will fly right out the window like a little happy bird. Priorities will shift. This album could single-handedly create peace in the world if everyone heard it!

Relaxing and beautiful,
By Musician Too (California) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Celtic Harp: The Quiet Path (Audio CD)
Gentle, sensitive music. The warm, loving spirit of the musician who has given us this music comes through so clearly on each beautifully played cut. Unlike some new-age music that can be too repetitious or simplistic, Paul Baker's music is multifaceted and many-colored, like a rainbow of healing light.

A Quiet and Profound Awakening,
By
This review is from: Celtic Harp: The Quiet Path (Audio CD)
Everything everyone is saying about this CD is true. It is exquisitely beautiful and reaches into the depth of one's soul and nurtures its blossoming. All I can add is download the tracks if you want to, but to have the whole and complete experience, buy the CD. All of Paul Baker's celtic harp CDs contain a guide for each track in the liner notes which I have found to be invaluable. Each track corresponds to a different part of the body and the meditations given for each entry point vary by key and tonality in line with the vibrational qualities of the different chakras and the guide helps us to focus our attention on them for maximum effect. All of his albums are so beautifully crafted, they really need to be experienced on all levels. They are so rich and so pure I listen to them every day. Thank you, Paul, once again for sharing your music with us and being patient with us as we wait to see what you will come up with next. You are a blessing to the world and to its awakening. I am in total awe and very grateful.

The third CD of eminent harpist and composer/arranger Paul Baker, "The Quiet Path" is a MUST HAVE for anyone wishing for beauty, health and wholeness in their life. Baker's uncanny connection to his instrument results in exquisite performance, and the addition of cellist Peggy Baldwin's gorgeous sound adds a layer of rich luminosity. The acoustics and engineering are of the highest quality, resulting in an unmatched musical and therapeutic experience. Listening in a quiet environment will bring you into a new and profound place of peace.

Quiet Path Opens The Door To Healing And Meditation,
By
This review is from: Celtic Harp: The Quiet Path (Audio CD)
Paul Baker's loving style on the harp again draws the heart and soul to a place of contemplation and meditation. The addition of Peggy Baldwin's cello adds further vibrational dimension to lift higher and go levels inward. The value of this CD is to listen to it again and again. The more familiar one becomes with it the more it seems to assist in opening the soul.Again, it is one to relax the household. My animals seem to pile into a relaxed heap of fur when this is played. This music just seems to bring forward angel love.

You will just sit in awe and say, "Wow",
By
This review is from: Celtic Harp: The Quiet Path (Audio CD)
From the first notes of this CD, you will hear yourself say "WOW", many times throughout each section. The cello music is exquisite, haunting, and seems to go right into your heart and soul. Then the harp begins and you are soaring into the heavens. Back and forth, into your heart, your soul, into the heavens, into the heart again. For a healing session, for a meditation, for calming, for centering, this is IT. You will find that you want to listen over and over, to deepen the listening experience. Although of course it is the same CD, it feels like you hear new nuances, new musical shifts, each time. When you listen, allow the music to permeate the deeper parts of you. You will feel like you have just been through a most amazing healing experience. And you will say, "Wow!" Many thanks to Paul Baker and all who contributed to this wonderful musical adventure.

From the first notes of the harp music, and the additional emotional pull of the cello, this CD puts you in the right "space" to get in touch with your inner Self, and explore the depths of love you are capable of expressing.

This music softly lulls me to the quiet path within. Calming without being sleepy, lovingly and beautifully played. The warm sounds of harp and cello combined are a sweet soulful cocktail for the city weary. This music lifts me and sooths me simultaneously. I can be both still and productive to this music, making it a rare find. You have to experience it to understand. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this very special music.
