Naively, I bought not just Ireland, but all four Celtic Journeys (includes England, Scotland and Wales) with the idea I'd get a flavor of the countries we were planning to visit. These could have been shot almost anywhere there are trees, fields, waterfalls,boats and rivers. Some narration of the locale one is viewing would have been nice, though it wouldn't have made them any more exciting. I sent the set to my sister who had already visited those countries, thinking she may glean more from them. She found them useful when she's suffering from insomnia. Cheaper and safer than sleeping pills. Otherwise a waste of time. A disappointment all the way around. If I'd had a choice of no stars (or negative stars)that's what I'd have awarded the set A Celtic Journey.

The background music puts one to sleep.Very little of the beauty of Ireland is shown as advertised. Somewhat amateurish. Could have used some vocal commentary.

My sister sent me the 4-video Celtic Journeys after my shoulder surgery made it difficult to sleep in a bed and I had to sleep in a leather recliner. Just the soporific required under the circumstances.
