Celtic fiddler Maire Breatnach has another winner!, January 25, 2001

This was my third of Maire Breatnach's solo CDs and her music just keeps on getting better and better. My favorite's are the "airs and slow waltzes" - #2 Fand, #5 Derdrui, #6 Naoise, and #8 Ailill which will inspire you with a unique melancholic, peaceful, soothing, and tranquil sound. Maire Breatnach is my favorite fiddle artist and plays superbly! Even if you have never had the opportunity to hear Celtic music before I think you, as I was, will be hooked. This is one CD that never collects dust and I've had it for 3 years. Congratulations to Maire on another winner and I look forward to her forth solo release which I read is in the works already.
