Helena Paterson (Cornwal, England) is a professional astrologer who has been a member of the British Astrological Association since 1978. She is also a herbalist and frequently draws on herbal lore in her astrological work. She has Celtic blood through both sides of her family.

The illustrations are breathtaking- I want framed copies of them all! The text is well thought out and the concept of the lunar zodiac is expounded with great clarity. There is something here that will interest everyone into Celtic lore.

This books is chocked full of information and correspondences on the Celtic and Greek level for each lunar tree. I ignore the astrology part because that really isn't the meat of the book for me. The author has done an excellent job of coordinating the legends for an understanding of the myth around the particular tree. Why do I say its an excellent coffee table book, the illustrations are excellent. This is a lovely produced book and an excellent gift for people interested in the subject area.

This book is a very close consise read of human beings. I know of no one who has read this book and not been able to see themselves in the words of the book. If you are curious or deep into the Celtic druids then this book is good to read!
