I checked out this book from the public library, & I'm glad I did -- at least I didn't pay any money for it. It's full of inconsistencies, errors, opinions thinly disguised as fact, New Age ranting, & typographical errors. A complete waste of paper.

Format: Hardcover
This book provides a good overview of its subject and uses wonderful photographs and archival pictures to enhance the text. Chapters include: Gods and Goddesses, Great Celtic Heroes, the Mabinogion, and the Celtic Way of Life. An index and picture credits are provided, but not a bibliography or endnotes. I enjoyed it very much and would recommend it if you are looking for a brief, but detailed, reference for Celtic mythology and folklore.
