5.0 out of 5 stars Conjures images of lochs, loons, and nights on the moors, August 19, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Celtic Nights (Audio CD)
My dentist had Celtic Nights playing softly overhead as I eased into the chair. I closed my eyes and let the sounds of loons and crickets, thunder rumbling in the distance, waves quietly caressing the shore, and celtic strains lull me to relaxation. I barely noticed the drill; it was just an irritating intrusion on my mini-vacation to the Scottish moors and rolling green hills of the Emerald Isle. Ahhhhhhhhhh.

5.0 out of 5 stars The most relaxing music I have ever heard., November 12, 2003

This is the best CD of all time. When I first listened to it, I just couldn't stop. It helps me relax and calm down whenever I'm in a bad mood or whenever I am just plain board. This CD has the most mellowing and soothing soundtracks, with drum beats to the sound's of the oceans waves clashing. If you love new age music, then you will love this CD

5.0 out of 5 stars Memories..., March 31, 2003

This is one of my favourite CD's! It was purchased when travelling and listened to on long days driving about - every song has a special memory attached to it of places and people. Has an awesome range of songs and adds great atmosphere. Great for relaxing to. I'd definately recommend this CD - borrowing a quote from the movie 'Toy Story'..."If you don't have one...GET ONE!"

5.0 out of 5 stars Celtic Night All the Time!, February 22, 2003

I am currently trying to get Celtic Nights on CD. I have the cassette but I have worn it out! My friends have borrowed it many times and it was always hard to get it back from them. It is a MUST for anyone who needs to relax, destress, have fun, and place a smile on their face. :)

5.0 out of 5 stars I've had this for 3 years and I still love it!!, June 25, 2002
This review is from: Celtic Nights (Audio CD)
This album is definately one worth listening to. I chose this as a birthday gift because the cover jumped out at me, and I found the song titles interesting. I have been a fan of Celtic music for as far back as I can remember; but never did I think that I could get so hooked on one album. The first song, Hills Of Myst, reminds me, for some reason, of mist surrounding dormant volcanoes..maybe it's just the way it's written. Spring Faire, track 2, kind of sounds like a cross between pirate music, and that of a tribal dance. My personal favorites are, Celic Nights, Spring Faire, Hills of Myst, Fields of Rain, Cry of the Wind, Storm Aross the Sea, and Highland Dawn. So, I urge you all..go out and BUY this CD!!! It may be a little hard to find, (I found only two places that sell it;) and a bit costly, (15.95); but it is worth the extra dollar!! Trust me, once you check this out, you'll never want to turn it off!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it. Absolutely love it., January 16, 2003

This review is from: Celtic Nights (Audio CD)
I first got it as a cassette from a friend, and listened to it constantly. While doing my homework, while reading, to help me fall asleep, to relax, whatever. Recently it began to warp, so I bought the CD. *swoon* Back to the old beauty and loveliness. Nature sounds for those nature lovers, Celtic tunes, and Celtic Nights has such a pure, almost primal, haunting tone to it that you want to just keep listening to it over and over and over...Spring Faire is great for getting energy up, and I just love the very beginning of Halls of Myst, those first few notes...they sound like the earth, in my opinion.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great stress-reliever!, August 7, 2002
This review is from: Celtic Nights (Audio CD)
This soothing music is perfect for any time of the day...to take you away to a "kindler, gentler" place. After reading another review on this CD, decided to try it...and am so glad I did! Some very beautiful melodies...a few with "Enya-like" background harmonies...and just a subtle touch of nature sounds in just the right places.
The melodies on this CD were composed in part by Diane Arkenstone (David's wife).
