If you like Celtic Lamentations you'll like Celtic Pilgrimage as well. I am a painter and like to listen to music that speaks to my soul while I paint. The ancient sounds, especially the throat singing, feel like they're running through my blood and connect me to the rhythm of universe.

I love listening to both albums. They are simultaneously ethereal and grounded with compelling sound.

Absolutely amazing cd I love Celtic music. I own many of Aine Minogue cds and I love them all. This is a great purchase for any one who loves Celtic music

She is at the top. This is a relaxing tape with mostly calm music and some quiet singing. If you want to hear her singing, get her Lamentations. She has a beautiful voice. Lamentations is more lively, at the same time sweet and moving. Get Pilgrimage and Lamentations, then listen to voice samples on Amazon for a third.

They should remove cut #8 because it's not in sync with the rest of the album which is very beautiful.. I understand that she was trying to be mystical but unfortunately this song stinks in plain English and is disruptive and simply poorly done when the rest is excellent. Cut one is a little self-conscious too but being at the beginning is ok though the chant in the background not particularly well done...
