The author's style of writing is very descriptive and entertaining. You really don't have to follow basketball to enjoy this rich and inspiring story. I plan to give it as gifts to many of my friends who are passionate about life!

An excellent read on a fascinating school located in the shadow of Newark Airport. Fitzsimmons brilliantly describes the triumphs and disappointments facing groups of hungry basketball players, some of whom made the ultimate leap into the NBA. Once you start reading it, you will not be able to put the book down.

Brian Fitzsimmons' book is very entertaining! I am not a sports fan and still found the book to be a great read. I will recommend this to my friends.
