A strange album, indeed. The lute is miked way too closely, there's echo added to it, yet birds and crickets chirp annoyingly in the simulated background. When two or more instruments play, the sound becomes a muddle, as this is apparently a monaural mix. Finally, the melodies themselves are quite boring-- it's hard to tell one from another. NG.
