The best of the Celtic Twilight series, truly beautiful,
By Amazonbombshell (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Celtic Twilight 4: Celtic Planet (Audio Cassette)
I use this deeply touching music as easily to add a peaceful, misty background to my activities as to provide a focus for meditation. It is also one of my favorites for use with my Healing Touch work The selection of songs and mix of artists from different cultural backgrounds is very well done; each piece is uniquely beautiful, evocative of something different, from lingering sunsets over quiet lakes to the mysteries of walking through a heavy, enfolding fog between the hills to the welcome flicker of friendly fires at night. A very worthwhile addition to your music library.

Celtic taken to a brighter level,
By Eric (California) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Celtic Twilight 4: Celtic Planet (Audio CD)
I was introduced to Celtic quite some time ago. This CD has incredible selections. I loved everyone of them. They are calm, soothing, and very relaxing. (track 13 is my favorite accompanied with bag pipes) This is definitely something a Celtic Music lover NEEDS to own. (don't' forget about the first 3)

Great stress reliever,
This review is from: Celtic Twilight 4: Celtic Planet (Audio CD)
The first time I heard this CD I had just completed a day full of stress. The music helped to revive and make me civil again. Try "Lament of McCrimmon" and "The drowning plains" to ease the nerves.

Dance a Little Jig While You're At It!,

I was looking around in a "Natural Wonders" store and I heard some Celtic music playing. I asked an attendant what it was and she told me it was "Celtic Twilight". I bought it and I took it home and listened to it. It was perfect. I love Irish music and this was a must have for me. It calms and soothes and lets you be a little carefree. My favorites are "Return to Inishmore" because of a classical feel it has to it. The oboe is fantastic. I also love "The Drowning Plains", it has a classic Irish sense with a symphony like quality. It is a must have for Celtic fans!

A most relaxing and inspiring album,
By A Customer
This review is from: Celtic Twilight 4: Celtic Planet (Audio CD)
This album is a wonderful blend of many international Celtic artists, including Carlos Nunez of Spain and the Irish sounds of Joanie Madden in THE IMMIGRANT. This album mixes beautiful haunting melodies like that of Anuna's BLACKTHORN and Sheila Chandra's LAMENT OF McCRIMMON with the livlier festive sounds of Declan Masterson's SPANISH POINT. Two of my personal favorites on this album are RETURN TO INISHMORE by Bill Douglas and Oystein Sevag's WHITE WINGS, both beautifully arranged and performed.

This cd was amazing! I luv celtic music but the mixture that is on this cd is just perfect for anyone just beginning to sample it. In fact, I ended up using the song by Oystein Sevag off of this album as my wedding march. We were able to contact him through email and he sent the sheet music for it and his blessings through a personal letter ...truly amazing! =) buy this...you won't regret it

A Lovely "Lament",

I heard "Lament of McCrimmon" on Live365.com and traced its source to this album. If the rest is as good as this, I will definitely buy it. It has real "tooth' unlike alot of "spacey" Celtic music.
