I am the producer of both this compilation and the "SACRED TREASURES" series as well as "MUSIC OF GRACE: Amazing Grace" and "SACRED SONGS OF MARY". In each case, my intention was to bring together the very best performances of exceptionally beautiful, slow and peaceful sacred music. All of the pieces on this compilation are filled with lush harmonies, whether sung by mixed choirs or by soloists, and all are deeply nourishing to the soul.

Different types of music serve different needs, and in today's stressful and fast-paced world, one of the most important and often neglected needs is for time out from that world--to rest in a magical, quiet space of slow, peaceful, beauty. I have all of the Celtic Twilight series and found both #6 & #7 to be a departure from the quiet beauty that marked the first CD's in the series. If there is a #8, I will preview it, but will not promise a purchase, until after the preview.
